Mega Man V

Mega Man V (Rockman World 5) is a Game Boy title developed and published by Capcom that stands out as the fifth and final game in the Game Boy Mega Man series. The game tasks players with defending Earth from the Stardroids, a group of powerful robots descending from space whose armor is too tough for Mega Man's standard pellet gun to penetrate.

The game introduces several significant departures from its predecessors. Most notably, Mega Man V features an entirely original set of bosses rather than recycling Robot Masters from the NES games. Instead of the Robot Masters, players face the Stardroids, each with unique designs and attack patterns.

To combat these new threats, Dr. Light equips Mega Man with the Mega Arm, which replaces his standard Mega Buster and transforms his charge shot into a rocket punch that detaches, strikes enemies, and reattaches. The game also introduces Tango, a new robot cat companion created by Dr. Light to assist Mega Man throughout his mission.
