Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem
Intelligent Systems
Sinopse
Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem is a tactical role-playing game developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo, released exclusively in Japan on January 21, 1994 for the Super Famicom. It is the third installment in the Fire Emblem series and the first developed for the Super Famicom.
The game was notable for being the first Fire Emblem title to use a 24-megabit cartridge. Its structure divides the experience into two distinct parts: Book One serves as a remake of the original Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light, while Book Two continues the story with the same characters following the events of Fire Emblem Gaiden.
Development began in 1992 during the production of Fire Emblem Gaiden, with series creator Shouzou Kaga returning as designer and writer. The two books were developed independently and feature different soundtracks, though hardware limitations required Intelligent Systems to truncate Book One's content to accommodate both storylines within the cartridge's capacity.
