Code Vein
Shift
Sinopse
Code Vein is set in a post-apocalyptic future following a mysterious disaster called the Great Collapse[4]. The game takes place in a hidden society of Revenants—humans brought back to life[3]—who inhabit the ruins of civilization in a city shrouded by red mist[2]. The world has collapsed into a vampiric-themed dystopia where Revenants must survive by collecting Blood Beads, a resource essential for their existence[2]. Rather than a simple battle for dominance, the story involves competing factions: some Revenants form communities, others operate as independent "Blood Hunters," and a Provisional Government led by Commander Silva attempts to maintain order through strict rationing[2]. The narrative centers on the player character, a Revenant with no memories who awakens years after a significant battle[2], and their journey alongside Io, a mysterious white-haired Revenant[2]. The gameplay combines Soulsborne-style exploration with the game's unique vampire aesthetic[7], creating an experience reminiscent of the Dark Souls series[4].
