Batman: Return to Arkham

Batman: Return to Arkham is a 2016 remaster compilation that brought Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with enhanced visuals. The collection includes both games and all their downloadable content.

Originally scheduled for July 26, 2016, the release was delayed to allow developer Virtuous Games additional time for quality improvements. The collection ultimately launched on October 18, 2016, priced at $49.99.

The remastered versions were rebuilt using Unreal Engine 4, upgrading from the original games' Unreal Engine 3 foundation. Virtuous Games, the developer behind the remaster, had previously worked on Heavy Rain's PS4 version and contributed to Uncharted 4: A Thief's End.
